Only by working together is it possible to achieve our mutual goals. This is why we feel extremely fortunate that we as members of the Peace Unity Foundation were welcomed so warmly by his Royal Highness Chief Mishoro and his wife. Without their vision and support for our programs we cannot do anything. So a big thank you for welcoming us as one of you. The honor could not be bigger! The villagers we met, all showed us the same warm welcome so we feel embraced by the Kasenengwa family!
Dawson Lupili (local project leader), Derk van Dorsten (project coordinator) and Felix Chanda (lecturer and local pastor) are warmly welcomed by her Royal Highness Chief Mishoro's wife.
We were welcomed at the Kasisi Institute by Emanuel. We were able to purchase the training documentation to start our small model organic farm. Also they provide training programs to our local farmers
Together with the young people from the surrounding villages we are doing the landscaping to establish our organic garden / small farm. In the garden we grow organic food and we teach villagers how to transition to organic farming.
Harvest Plus is an NGO that worked very hard to develop and introduce healthy crops such as sweet potatoes, protein rich beans and orange maize.
We are working closely together with our friends from Living Waters. They already have provided numerous villages with boreholes. Furthermore they education villagers about how to avoid deseases by following basic hygene rules. By working with them we hope to provide many villages in the Kasenengwa area with water. This will improve the life of many people and also support the organic farming project.
